The Green Mile

I'm currently avoiding watching this - it's on in the next room. Jesus. Fucking weird movie. It goes from funny to setting a man on fire in an electric chair in about 30 seconds. Not my cup of tea.

I should have watched the new Alton Brown show, dammit. Like I wanted to.

Oh, but the Green Mile is a fantastic movie! Weird, like Stephen King's stuff usually is, but it resonates deeper than just scary. It celebrates different. The books are better. If you haven't read them, you might want to consider it. Plus, if you buy the serials, the story is broken into little snippets, which makes it easier to read if you're strapped for time.

I read the books and watched the movie. (being the King junkie, I am.)

I am sorry you are not enjoying it.

I hear you.. it is a bit of a creepy movie. from the electric chair to the whimpy guard... I could only watch it once.

But-- Shawshank Redemption.. I could watch that all day every day.
