MIss Elle Annia

Could someone please explain why I'm so fucking tired all the time? I took a 2 hour nap yesterday while the girls were napping. They went to bed around 7 and I dozed off on the couch for a good hour. I went to bed at midnight (early for me) and slept until 7 this morning and I still feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck. I'm not sick, I'm not pregnant (that'd be a trick), I just had my thyroid checked and it's fine. It's maddening.

Someone from Romania has been hanging out on my blog for 20 - 30 minute chunks of time. Odd. But, hey, you could say hi, Romanian person. I don't bite.

Comments and site hits have dropped off precipitously. I'm sort of bummed, but if everyone is in the funk that I'm in, I'm not at all surprised. I look at my Bloglines page and have a minor heart attack because I have 519 unread posts. I'm going to have to do something to rein in the blog chaos. Reading and commenting shouldn't be so stress-inducing.

Speaking of funk, I can't think of a damned thing to write about, either here or at the other blogs I contribute to. My mind is like a desolate landscape, with nary a thought or idea to be seen.

My god, I need a nap....

My stats are appalling too. Comments...eh.

Before I got to the words "unread posts", I thought you were going to say that you have 519 feeds on your bloglines. That would be scary.

Have you been tested for anemia? Iron deficiency can leave you REALLY tired. I should know. To get up to normal iron levels, I'd have to take enough iron pills that my heart and kidneys would give out. So I get to balance that with being anemic and just take the tired to keep the strong ticker and blood cleaners.

Almost none of the diabetes blogs I watch are updating anymore. I've been thinking that everyone has been abducted by aliens. Hey, if you're sleeping all night does that mean the little one is finally sleeping? Was there a miracle I missed?

Maybe you need to take up a hobby that you could blog about. Then again when would you sleep? Sorry for my ignorance, lol.
Comments...mehhhh I don't have many either...yet we live for them eh?

Sounds like everyone is running into that blog funk of not knowing what to post about. Several of my friends have said the same thing.

Sorry to hear you are so tired!

I stopped drinking coffee about two weeks ago and ever since then, I haven't been as tired during the day. I noticed that the coffee never even woke me up, but since I stopped trying, it been much easier. During my research I read that coffee can make anemia worse, so maybe I am anemic? I also am making more of an effort to eat more variety of food, though I need to start taking a multivitamin again.

I still get tired sometimes, especially when I'm in my cold office, but for the most part, I think these changes have helped. Exercise can also help.

Oh god, is the headache because I have an extra person in there? My posts the last couple of weeks have been pathetic little bits and pieces, too, and my bloglines keeps creeping up over 100, even though I am constantly swimming upstream trying to stay on top. Bah.

Why should you be so exhausted? You only have little kids, a gazillion blogging issues, a chronic disease to check on 24/7, things to write, things to read, things to clean, people to phone, places to drive, friends to attend to, bills to pay, (have I mentioned school? love life? shopping? doctor appointments?) and Red Sox to cheer on. No big deal!

Just take a vitamin!! ;-)

desolation. Yep. Got it. I don't have any material, no wonder I'm getting 20-25 hits a day. It was a struggle (again) to write my dlife column.

(and I'm quitting my job to try out freelancing? ummm.)

I have been really tired lately, too. I got my period this morning, which explains a lot (including my bitchiness).

Yeah, what's up with the lack of comments? Doesn't everyone want everyone else to feel loved?

Is it something in the weather, or what? I'm exhausted all the time, too. BUT... I'm heading home tomorrow for my 25th (ack) class reunion, and being in New England when the Sox are in the playoffs is never bad.

I'm with you on the exhaustion. Seems like that's going around these days. I feel like I've been on fast-foward since about January (and my co-workers agree - it's been nuts here at work) and life in general is moving at a ridiculous clip.

BUT.

I always like your posts. Even the ones that you say are rambling. I always enjoy reading you, everywhere you're writing. :)

And on the exhaustion, exercise helps a freaking ton. So does chosing herbal tea over high octane coffee. And there's this rumor about sleeping something like eight hours, but I'll be shocked if I ever know what that's like firsthand. ;)

I am exhausted as well. I've been so tired I can't stand up. Like first-trimester pregnant tired, but I'm not pregnant.

Today is the first day in several that I've felt almost normal and haven't at least one two hour nap.

Here's to pulling out of it.

you already know my issues.

I am anemic and the iron is not really helping with the tiredness to tell you the truth. It may need upping.

hits on my blog? I'm lucky to get 4 a week. LMAO

I blame the kids. I had an iron transfusion and take thyroid medication, but I'm still tired.

It HAS been quiet in blogland. Thank you for saying something b/c I was getting ready to panic that I had pissed everyone off with a comment or something (actually my sister was upset about one of my posts but she doesn't even blog so it isn't as if she could influence the entire blogosphere!).

Hope you are feeling better soon. I find that the change in seasons can really knock the crap out of me.
