The Scribe template I liked so much doesn't seem to be modifiable. I'm not highly enamoured of this one, but until I can scrape up some cash to get a new template, this one will have to do. All my bling in sitting in a Word document. I'm going to see if I can put some of it here, especially the diabetes stuff, but for now, the dots will have to do.

I liked the custom look of before, but it was getting hard to load, so I like the speed of the new one, and the dots are nifty.
Ah. Just read comments on the post below... I guess I wasn't the only one with the loading issue. FWIW, my problem was the same as others described: template came up quick, then a lot of grinding away till the content appeared.
I've stopped reading a few blogs for that same reason, but kept at it with yours 'cause I dig it :).

I think "scribe" is the template I was using before - I've seen a lot of modified versions of it around (Novembrance is one; Denguy used to have one but I think he's switched). I don't know how they did it though, so I'm not much help. (At least I delurked - that's something!)

I had this template before on my blog and liked it, but changed to my new format--still just a Blogger template.
I'll be reading more regularly now...I used to have to "save up" and read a bunch of posts at once b/c my computer couldn't handle "the scribe." You were just too damn powerful!

I used to have the Scribe template also. I loved it, but the background started to look more and more like funeral home wallpaper to me.
