There's Joy In Mudville Today
The Red Sox clinched the AL East last night, for the first time in twelve years, beating the Minnesota Twins 5 - 2. An hour and 17 minutes later, the *spit* Yankees lost to Baltimore, 10 - 9, in extra innings.
There were around 4000 fans left at Fenway, watching the Baltimore/Yankees game on the jumbo screen.
Jonathan Papelbon soaks the crowd.
I see you, baby, shaking that ass....
Many bottle of champagne sacrificed themselves to the celebration.
And now I just need them to hold onto home field advantage AND have the ALDS go to game 5 and I will have some kick ass seats to the best show in town!!!
