Bob Clark, the director of A Christmas Story was killed in a drunk driving accident early this morning.
Please note: This blog is dragging itself out of the dark abyss of pish and crawling insanely up to the topmost pinnacle of posh. It is rumble and bumble. It is flap and doodle. It is balder and dash.

I can't miss watching A Christmas Story at least once over the holidays, but it's never on TV here. Boo.
What a shame. So not only did he die at the hands of some drunken dumbass who only had minor injuries, his 22 year old son did too.
that's sad
Best Christmas movie ever. I'm saddened by this.
You know, before I read the story, I predicted exactly what happened.
He was the victim and the drunk driver came out virtually injury free.
Every single story I hear about drunk driving accidents wind up being that scenario.
For once I want to hear about the victim being ok, and the drunk driver being seriously injured....or dead.
My uncle died as a victim of a drunk driving accident and it really incenses me.....sorry for the rant.
I LOVE Christmas Story.
Man, that is terrible.
That is one of my all time favorite movies.
Puts me ahead of the curve. I've been wearing that tee shirt around for days now. Didn't know why until I read your psychic post. Sucky Sad.
